| Revew | Teltonika OTD500 5G Outdoor Cellular RouterThe Teltonika OTD500 is a 5G router built for outdoor installation on a wall or pole using the included bracket. Its PC+ASA plastic housing is rated IP55 and works from -40°C to 55°C, and the router is powered through a single network cable using PoE. The 5G Sub-6GHz SA/NSA modem reaches download speeds of up to 3.4Gbps, with 4G LTE Cat 19 and 3G fallback. Two SIM slots and an eSIM switch automatically, and the PoE-out port can power a camera or other network device. RutOS provides VPN, a firewall, industrial protocols and remote management through Teltonika RMS, which makes the router a good fit for security cameras, remote sites, smart agriculture and IoT projects.

- 5G with 4G and 3G fallback - Download speeds of up to 2.4Gbps in SA and 3.4Gbps in NSA mode and uploads of up to 900Mbps. On 4G LTE Cat 19 up to 1.6Gbps down and 200Mbps up. Four internal antennas cover 617-5000MHz.
- Dual SIM and eSIM - Two Mini SIM slots and an eSIM with up to 7 profiles, with automatic switching on weak signal, data limit, roaming, no network or data connection failure.
- PoE-in and PoE-out - Two Gigabit Ethernet ports. The router is powered via 802.3af/at PoE and can power another device, such as an IP camera, through an 802.3af Alternative B PoE-out port delivering up to 15W.
- VPN and security - OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, L2TP, PPTP, GRE, DMVPN, SSTP, ZeroTier, Tinc and Tailscale, a firewall with DDoS prevention, a TPM 2.0 chip and 802.1x authentication.
- Management and IoT - Web UI, SSH, SNMP, TR-069, MQTT and JSON-RPC, firmware updates over the air (FOTA) and centralized management in Teltonika RMS, plus Modbus TCP, OPC UA, DNP3 and DLMS protocols.
