DAHUA ASR1200E Waterproof IC Card Access Reader

The Dahua ASR1200E is a compact card reader for access control systems. It reads Mifare IC cards contactlessly at 13.56MHz from up to 5 cm away and passes the card data to the access controller for verification and door release.

The reader connects to the controller over RS-485 or Wiegand34 and supports the OSDP protocol. Its ABS housing is IP66 rated, so it suits wall mounting next to indoor doors as well as at outdoor entrances.

• RS-485, Wiegand and OSDP - Connects to access controllers through an RS-485 port or a Wiegand34 port and supports the OSDP protocol.
• IP66 waterproof - A sealed ABS housing for indoor and outdoor installation, operating from -30°C to 65°C.
• Buzzer and indicator light - Audible and visual feedback to the user on every card swipe.
• Electrical protection and watchdog - Protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, lightning, short circuits and static. A watchdog detects abnormal operation and restarts the device to keep it running.
