| Revew | TP-Link Tapo C246D 2K 3MP Dual Lens Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi Security CameraThe TP-Link Tapo C246D is an indoor/outdoor security camera with two 2K lenses in one body. The fixed top lens covers a wide 125° view, while the bottom 6 mm telephoto lens sits on a pan/tilt head that turns and zooms in on details, so two areas can be watched at the same time on one screen. When the fixed lens detects motion, a person or a pet, the pan/tilt lens automatically turns toward the subject and follows it. The camera is IP65 rated, connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, records to a microSD card of up to 512GB or to Tapo Care cloud storage and supports RTSP and ONVIF.
Key features- Two 2K lenses in one camera - A 2.8 mm wide-angle lens with a 125.5° diagonal field of view and a 6 mm telephoto lens with 67.1°. Both record at 2304 x 1296 and are shown together in the Tapo app.
- Synchronized smart tracking - When the fixed lens detects an event, the pan/tilt lens turns toward it and tracks it. Tapping an area in the wide view (One-Tap Smart Focus) points the moving lens there instantly.
- Free AI detection - Motion, person, pet, vehicle, line-crossing, baby cry, glass break, dog bark, cat meow and camera tampering detection, with phone notifications and custom activity zones.
- Three night vision modes - 850nm infrared up to 12 m in black and white, full-color night vision with three built-in spotlights, or a smart mode that switches to color when motion is detected.
- Patrol and preset views - Patrol mode for 360° surveillance, up to 8 preset viewing points and scheduled monitoring. Privacy zones block selected areas from recording.
- Indoor and outdoor use - IP65 rating, operation from -20°C to 50°C, tabletop, wall, ceiling or pole mounting, two-way audio with noise cancellation and a 99dB siren. Works with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings.
