| Revew | VIGI InSight S285 8MP 2.8mm Dome IP CameraThe VIGI InSight S285 is a 4K (3840x2160) dome network camera from the TP-Link InSight series. Its metal housing is IK10 vandal-proof and IP67 weatherproof, which makes it a good fit for entrances, corridors, parking garages and shop or office fronts. The fixed 2.8 mm F1.6 lens gives a 110 degree horizontal field of view. Two infrared LEDs and two white LEDs reach up to 30 m and allow a color picture at night. The camera classifies humans and vehicles, warns with an audible alert and flashing light, supports two-way talk through its built-in microphone and speaker, and takes power and data over a single network cable (PoE).
Key features- 4K Ultra HD - 3840x2160 resolution with a 1/2.7 inch progressive scan CMOS sensor and a 17 m recognition distance with the 2.8 mm lens.
- 24/7 full color - Two 850 nm IR LEDs and two white LEDs with a 30 m range, and 0.005 lux minimum illumination.
- Human and vehicle detection - Human and vehicle classification cuts down false alarms, and People & Vehicle Analytics lets you search recordings by attributes when used with VIGI software. Also intrusion, line crossing, loitering, abandoned or removed objects, abnormal sound and scene change detection.
- Deterrence and two-way audio - Audible warning and flashing white light when an event is detected, plus a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio.
- IK10 and IP67 protection - A metal housing rated IK10 against impact and IP67 against water and dust, operating from -30°C to 60°C.
- Connection and storage - PoE 802.3af/at or 12V DC power, recording to a microSD card of up to 512GB or to an NVR, H.265+ compression and ONVIF Profile S/T/G support.
