| Revew | PTZ Network Camera DAHUA SD4D425MB-HNR 4MP 25xThe DAHUA SD4D425MB-HNR is a WizSense PTZ camera built for open areas and long-distance outdoor surveillance. A 1/2.8" 4MP CMOS sensor (2560 x 1440) works with a 5 to 125 mm lens and 25x optical zoom, while the head pans 360 degrees endlessly and tilts from -15 to 90 degrees. At night the smart dual light keeps IR on for up to 100 m and switches to white light (also up to 100 m) when a target is detected, so key events are recorded in full color. AI functions include perimeter protection with human and vehicle classification, face detection, SMD 4.0, AcuPick and WizTracking auto tracking. The camera is powered by PoE (802.3at) or 12 VDC and is IP67 rated with TVS 6000 V lightning protection.
Key features- 25x optical zoom - 5 to 125 mm lens with auto focus, 16x digital zoom and 300 presets. According to the DORI table, a person can be identified at up to 250 m at full tele.
- Smart dual light - IR and white light, each with a range of up to 100 m. IR stays on by default; when a target enters the scene the white light turns on for color capture and then switches off again to reduce light pollution.
- Auto tracking and patrol - The camera pans, tilts and zooms to follow a moving target (WizTracking). After an IVS event it returns to patrolling the configured presets.
- AI analytics - Perimeter protection (tripwire, intrusion, fence crossing, loitering, abandoned/missing object, people gathering) with human and vehicle classification, face detection with 6 attributes and 8 expressions, SMD 4.0 and AcuPick for fast video search.
- Clear image in difficult light - Starlight technology, 120 dB true WDR, electronic image stabilization (EIS) and defog. Sensitivity of 0.005 lux in color and 0.0005 lux in B/W.
- Built for outdoor use - IP67 protection, TVS 6000 V lightning protection and surge protection. Operating temperature from -40 to +70 °C.
