Internal Hard Drive Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB

The Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS is a 3.5-inch 500GB internal hard drive from the 12th generation of the Barracuda desktop family. This unit is used and has been lab-tested.

The drive spins at 7200 RPM, with a 16MB cache, a SATA interface at up to 300MB/s and sustained transfer of up to 125MB/s. Perpendicular recording and Native Command Queuing improve performance under many simultaneous requests.

It is a good choice for upgrading an older computer, a second drive for files and backups, or replacing a failed drive in a PC that came with a Barracuda 500GB. The 500GB version has one platter and two heads and draws only about 6.19W when operating.
