SSD Disk Sandisk SSD Plus 240GB

The SanDisk SSD Plus is a 2.5-inch SSD for upgrading a laptop or desktop PC. In the 240GB version it reaches sequential reads of up to 530MB/s and sequential writes of up to 440MB/s over a SATA 6 Gbit/s interface. It is used and has been tested in our lab.

According to SanDisk, replacing a 5400 RPM hard drive with it shortens boot-up and shutdown and speeds up application loading. SLC caching boosts burst write performance, which suits everyday use: web browsing, email, office work, casual gaming and media.

At 7 mm thick it also fits thin laptops, and it resists shock, vibration and temperatures from 0 to 70 C. The SanDisk SSD Dashboard software lets you monitor the drive.
