| Revew | ATEN CE840 USB True 4K HDMI HDBaseT 3.0 KVM Extender 100mThe ATEN CE840 is a KVM extender kit with a local unit and a remote unit that carries HDMI video, USB, audio, RS-232 and Gigabit Ethernet between a computer and a remote workstation over one Cat 6A cable. With HDBaseT 3.0 the picture is transmitted with no compression and zero latency at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz (4:4:4) with HDR10+ over 100 m, and in long reach mode at 1080p over up to 150 m. A USB keyboard, mouse and HDMI monitor can be connected at both ends, with a pushbutton to choose which console controls the computer. Each unit has four USB 2.0 ports: two for keyboard and mouse and two for other peripherals. The extender suits factories, warehouses, data centers and medical environments, is rack-mountable and needs no software or drivers.
