Gold Touch USB3.0 Gigabit Lan Adapter

The Gold Touch USB3.0 Gigabit Lan Adapter adds a wired RJ45 network port to any laptop or desktop with a USB port, and is especially handy for thin laptops without an Ethernet port. It connects to a USB 3.0 port, is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and supports 10/100/1000Mbps with auto-sensing.

The adapter is powered by the USB port, so no external power supply is needed. It supports Auto MDIX for straight and crossover cable detection, jumbo frames up to 9KB and remote wake-up via magic packet. It works with Windows 7/8/10/11 and Mac OS 10.6 or later, and drivers are available on the manufacturer's website.

Key features

• Gigabit speed - 10/100/1000Mbps with automatic speed sensing, compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3ab.
• USB 3.0, backward compatible - The USB 3.0 connection makes full use of Gigabit speed, and the adapter also works in USB 2.0 ports.
• Auto MDIX - The port detects straight or crossover network cables automatically, so no special cable is needed.
• Jumbo frames and remote wake-up - Supports frames up to 9KB, suspend mode and remote wake-up via link-up and magic packet.
• No external power - The adapter draws power from the USB port, and the short 0.1 m cable keeps the setup tidy next to the computer.
