| Revew | Access Point Ruckus R370The Ruckus R370 is an indoor Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) access point that brings enterprise performance to small and medium sites: hotels, offices, retail stores, restaurants, student housing and branch offices. It runs dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz 2x2:2 MU-MIMO with channels up to 160MHz and a combined data rate of up to 3.57Gbps. A 2.5GbE port avoids wired backhaul bottlenecks, and the AP is powered by PoE+ or a 48V DC supply. RUCKUS technologies such as ChannelFly, AI-driven radio resource management in the cloud, Adaptive Wi-Fi Cell Sizing and SmartCast improve performance, and it is managed via the RUCKUS One cloud or SmartZone.
Key features- Wi-Fi 7 up to 3.57Gbps - 2x2:2 per band: up to 2,882Mbps at 5GHz and up to 688Mbps at 2.4GHz, with MLO, preamble puncturing and channels up to 160MHz.
- 2.5GbE port - A 1/2.5Gbps RJ-45 port for multi-gigabit switches, with PoE+ (802.3at) power over existing CAT 5e cabling.
- Smart radio management - ChannelFly selects the least congested channels, AI-driven radio resource management in the cloud adjusts settings automatically, and Adaptive Wi-Fi Cell Sizing resizes cells to match the load.
- Compact design - 15 x 15 x 3.8 cm and 390 g for discreet installation in hotel rooms, classrooms and small offices.
- SmartMesh - A self-forming, self-healing mesh network that reduces extra cabling and is enabled with a single checkbox.
- 256 clients and 16 SSIDs - Up to 256 concurrent clients and up to 16 SSIDs (8 per band), with SmartCast QoS for video and voice.
