It has two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports: a LAN port for the network connection and a POE port for the powered device. The injector is intended for powering ALTA LABS access points such as the AP6 and AP6-Pro where no PoE+ switch is available. If the LAN port is not connected, the access point runs in mesh mode and only power is delivered over the cable. Installation is simple: connect the power cord to an outlet, run a network cable from the POE port to the device, and (recommended) a second network cable from the LAN port to the network. A white LED shows that the injector is connected to power. The injector is designed for wall mounting, and its small size (113.6 x 53.5 x 33.5 mm) makes it easy to place in a network cabinet or a utility room. Key features
