Motherboard Gateway h57d01-1.0-8eks3h

The Gateway H57D01 (part h57d01-1.0-8eks3h) is a motherboard from Gateway desktop PCs, built on the Intel H57 Express chipset from the Intel 5 Series and the LGA1156 socket. It supports first-generation Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors for this socket and DDR3 memory in four slots.

It is mainly for repairing an existing Gateway PC with a failed board, or for bringing an older office PC back to work without replacing the CPU, memory and case. The board is used and has been tested in our lab.

The rear panel has HDMI and VGA outputs for the processor's integrated graphics, four USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, Gigabit LAN, two PS/2 ports, six audio jacks and an optical S/PDIF output. According to Intel, the H57 chipset supports up to 14 USB 2.0 ports, 6 SATA ports, RAID through Intel Matrix Storage and two displays.
